December 30, 2010 Owhango Rocks to Dragon

Touted as one of the best bands across Australia and New Zealand, Dragon came to small town Owhango in December 2010 and played to a packed out audience at the Owhango Hotel.

Around 1000 fans of all ages turned out to the hotel the day before New Years Eve last December and rocked and sang to some old favourites.."Are you Old Enough?", "April Sun in Cuba"..

The stage was home built by Grant and a few of the patrons of the hotel and was set on the grass area adjacent to the carpark leaving the carpark for the concert goers.

A well known local band 'Spider Pig' played as crowd warmers and they did an excellent job to prepare the audience for the star event of the evening.

Owhango rocked in to the evening and the concert was a great success.
